George Leslie took part in the Business Fives Charity Football Tournament in Glasgow yesterday on behalf of Beatson Charity.
Our team were deemed the “Invincibles” in our group after winning all three of their first group stage games and then progressing onto the knockout stages of the Business Fives Charity Football tournament.
The George Leslie Team progressed onwards in the tournament by winning their first knock out game and then winning their quarter final but sadly were beaten on penalties in the semi-finals by EGGER.
All is not lost for our George Leslie team. Due to our success in the “Champions League” section of the knockout round and by progressing to the semi-finals, we automatically qualify for the Scottish national tournament later in the year which takes place on the 20th October 2022 at Power League in Glasgow
